CHAPTER 13
2.5 Days Left
I hated this Maiden of Light for daring to kill me and my friends. Who the hell does she think she is? No one and I mean no one attacks us and gets to live! This is beyond outrageous!
I pulled my long black cloak and hood tightly over myself as I stepped onto the horrible massive stone balcony where the Maiden of Light was when I last saw her. I hated everything about this balcony from its foul blue walls to utterly arrogant scripture saying how amazing she was.
I wasnât to gut her.
Even the horrid smell of burning incense was nothing to make me furious at her, and the sounds of my friends in trouble made me want to burn this entire Cathedral to the ground...
Oh. Now thatâs an idea!
The sound of three heavy footsteps came from behind me and when I looked at them I was hardly surprised to see the three members of the Hands with their black iron masks. Two men, one woman.
They all had their long white swords with magical energy crackling around them. I knew what they did but I hoped they wouldnât affect me.
They all swung their swords in the air.
The magic energy crackled around me.
It was closing in.
I wasnât scared.
I wanted the pain.
I wanted to feel.
I wanted to kill the magic.
The magic energy diffused away from me. Coward!
With the three iron mask wearers exchanging glances with each other, I took my chance.
I flew at them.
Jumping into the air.
Whipping out my swords.
I landed on one of their necks.
I pulled my momentum to throw the Hand Member to the ground.
Ramming my swords into his head.
The other two swung at me.
I ducked.
They lost their balance.
I kicked one.
The woman grabbed my head.
I backflipped.
Making her fall.
I stomped on her face.
Something cracked.
She didnât die.
The last man charged at me.
I jumped.
Not in time.
He caught me.
Ramming me into the stone of the balcony.
It started cracking.
I went to scream.
I looked below.
One of my friends might help me.
They were gone.
They were in danger.
They could be dead.
The man grabbed my throat.
He squeezed.
My friends were in danger!
I kicked him in-between the legs.
He fell to the ground.
He moaned.
I stomped on his manly goods.
He screamed.
I whacked his head.
I kicked him again and again.
His blood splattered everywhere.
He tried to stand up.
I grabbed the mask.
Ripping it off.
It was melted into his face.
I threw the mask at the woman.
She ducked.
She wasnât attacking me.
I jumped on the barely living man.
Grabbing his head.
I smashed his head on the floor.
Over and over.
And over.
All until there was nothing left in my hands and there was only the shattered corpse of a man in front of me.
I stood up and stared at the woman who was impressively holding a shaky sword at me like she would actually kill me. I always admire ambition so I had to give her her due.
But my friends were in danger and I donât stop for anyone when that happens.
So I simply walked to her, gently took the sword of her hand and wrapped my hands around her throat.
